In January I had the opportunity to take maternity pictures for my little sister and her husband. This was honestly one of the coldest shoots I have ever done and therefore probably one of the shortest shoots but we were able to capture some really beautiful images of these two before they became a family of three. Enjoy the March (yes, this is their last name) maternity shoot and stay tuned to see the sweet baby girl who made me an aunt!

This beautiful family will be adding TWINS to their bunch any day now! It was such a pleasure to spend a little bit of time with them a couple weeks ago. We had a beautifully warm January day to work with and the pictures captured the love that this family shares perfectly. Enjoy!
Last Sunday the East Carter High School Boys' Soccer team recognized their six seniors on Senior Day. On this day we celebrated each of these young men, all that they've accomplished and all that they hope to be in the future!
Congratulations Jordan, Chase, Brian, Hunter, Doug and Seth and good luck on the rest of your senior season! Bryce is one of my four senior representatives this year and let me tell you he is SUCH a natural in front of the camera. This shoot was on one of the hottest and most humid days we had this summer but he looked great and we had such a fun time. I can't wait for his second session. I hope you enjoy some of Bryce's senior portraits!
This weekend I headed to Columbus, OH for a weekend visiting with friends and family. One evening this couple and I had a chance to do an impromptu shoot. We were losing light fast and only had about 20 minutes to shoot, so we hurried outside and we were blessed with the most beautiful sky. Toward the end we brought Zardy, their adorable tortoise, out for some family pictures!
Enjoy Asa and Alyssa's sunset shoot. I have had the privilege of photographing Doug and Hannah over the past two years. When Hannah approached me with the idea for this shoot I was so excited to be a part of it! I love when people have a vision that I'm able to help make into a reality. We had an absolutely beautiful evening for the paint fight and it was SO much fun.
Enjoy! Amber was the first of four senior representatives chosen for the Class of 2019 and it was such a pleasure to take her portraits. These summer sessions can be a challenge, the heat and humidity make them tough, but she looked stunning and we had a great time while capturing these beautiful images. I am thankful to have such a sweet girl representing Kelli Cornelia Photography this year!
I hope you enjoy just some of the many beautiful pictures we took that day! For those of you who do not know, I am currently 10,000 weeks pregnant (Ok actually 38). Shanna contacted me a couple of weeks ago to make sure that we could get some beautiful family pictures before school started and before I'm out of commission for a while.
I so appreciate this beautiful family, their hearts for each other and for other people, and their patience with me during the shoot since I'm moving a little more slowly than normal. I hope that you love these family pictures as much as I do. I will always be thankful for friends like Trinity. She is talented, compassionate, powerful, beautiful, and strong.
On this day we set out to have some fun with an impromptu photo shoot. Unfortunately about 20 minutes into the shoot a huge thunderstorm rolled in and ended our fun. Regardless, I love the shots that we got and the fact that she was willing to risk electrocution with me just so we could spend a fun afternoon together. Enjoy! In June, I travelled north to Michigan to visit with family and to celebrate the life and legacy of one of my precious great aunts.
I always love spending time with my family and this time around was no different, despite the circumstances that brought us together. While in Michigan my mom and I stayed with another one of my great aunts, Mary. Mary's heart is to serve and she is always looking for ways to take care of the people around her. (All of my great aunts are like this.) One evening I stole her away from hosting and captured just a glimpse of her beauty. I love the way these pictures turned out because when I look at them I see strength and grace and hope. I hope you enjoy the photos of Mary as well as a couple pictures of her brother, my sweet Uncle Bill, and just part of our huge family! |
